A JAM Digital Studio Artist works with digital and print content for some of Canada’s biggest brands. Supported by a team of over 100 one-to-one communication experts, you’ll enjoy a culture that promotes personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Work with Account Managers to execute Art Director’s concepts into production-ready working files
• Utilize digital knowledge to edit and build email files with technical accuracy, in Photoshop
• Build and edit digital assets (animated videos and GIFs, web banners, social media posts, etc.)
• Utilize pre-press knowledge to edit and build direct mail files with technical accuracy, in InDesign
• Develop a thorough understanding of brand standards
• Comply to quality standards for the team as set forth by the department
• Attain feedback and collaborate with others
• Identify and suggest solutions on how to improve departmental processes
• Keep on top of current trends and the latest technological advances
• Adhere to timelines and schedules
• Keep Account Managers advised of status and changes on all projects
• Work a variety of scheduled shifts depending on needs of the business (afternoon, evening, late night)

Desired Skills & Experience

• College diploma in related field or equivalent knowledge base
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
• Interest and/or experience in Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Animate, HTML5, and CSS would be an asset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong problem-solving skills and detail oriented
• Ability to time manage and effectively complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
